We all go through times when life appears to be confusing and out of our control. We may feel alone or afraid and lose sight of hope. A good therapeutic relationship can be very helpful in allowing us to reconnect with our inner resilience. It can give us the space to let go of managing the external world and to move inwards to understand what is hurting us emotionally. My role is to provide a safe space for you to do this and to join you in your efforts to approach and work through difficult patterns of thought, feeling and behaviour.
I support individuals in their struggles with symptoms of anxiety, depression, mania and mood swings, bipolar depression, and effects of trauma. Some of the specific concerns I help my clients relate more skillfully to include ruminative or obsessive thinking; difficulty modulating emotions; impulsivity; pattern of unstable relationships; unpredictability in anger; and instability of self-image.
